Matthew Naidorf began his career in finance at Citibank after graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Economics. In 2010, he earned his MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and soon after joined Bank of Montreal in New York City as part of its Equity Research team, covering the technology sector.
Matthew further sharpened his analytical and strategic skills at Oppenheimer & Co., where he served as Director/Senior Associate of Equity Strategy. At the firm’s New York headquarters, he worked closely with financial advisors and retail clients, publishing weekly market updates and contributing to institutional equity projects. He also played a key role in structuring several successful unit investment trusts as part of the Market Strategy group.
Following his time at Oppenheimer, Matthew founded Copperhead Capital, LLC, a New York–based long/short equity hedge fund. He actively managed a portfolio of equities and options, applying a disciplined investment approach rooted in market research and risk management. Eventually, he transitioned to a more client-focused role as a financial advisor at Prudential, where he served clients for nearly six years.
In early 2024, Matthew joined Income & Asset Advisory, Inc., drawn to the firm’s unwavering commitment to putting clients first. Since joining, he has worked closely with Jason Waxler to support equity-related investments, bringing a deep understanding of financial markets and products to the team.
